Training for complexity: what helps teacher trainees plan for inclusive classrooms?

As classrooms become more diverse and education systems more complex, teacher trainees must be equipped not only with strategies, but with the mindset to navigate complexity. ITE providers have to make difficult decisions about what to include in the packed ITE curriculum, to respond to this challenge.
This research-led session discusses findings from a randomised-controlled trial within our own provision at NIoT, comparing two distinct training approaches designed to support trainees with inclusive classroom practices.
