Expanding access to high-quality training and development: What have we learned from research and practice in ITE, ECF and NPQs in diverse settings across the country?
Access to high-quality professional learning and development is not equally available nationwide. Engaging in diverse learning experiences is critical for the growth trajectory of good teachers, yet opportunities for trainees, teachers in their early careers, more experienced educators, and school leaders are currently unevenly distributed across the country. Barriers include geographical location, time paucity and varying access to resources and expertise. To address these challenges, it is crucial to expand opportunities for schools to observe effective practices across a variety of educational settings. This webinar will cover:
- An overview on our learning from research and practice into expanding access to high-quality PD in ITE, ECF and NPQs
- Considerations for schools and providers when delivering professional development programmes at scale
- An opportunity for questions and discussion
This webinar will be useful for schools and professional development and training providers. We look forward to seeing you at the event!
