NIoT launches Expert Working Group to support teacher development research
Are you passionate about improving teacher development and boosting pupil outcomes?
If so: The National Institute of Teaching (NIoT) is inviting experienced teacher educators and development leads to join the Expert Working Group (EWG) for its Teacher Improvement through Data and Evaluation (TIDE) project.
What is TIDE?
Funded by the Nuffield Foundation, TIDE aims to investigate the factors that contribute to high-quality teaching and improve teacher development across diverse school contexts. This innovative project will run until December 2028. You can find out more about this exciting work here.
Become a part of the Expert Working Group
The NIoT is seeking 6-10 individuals to join the EWG. This group will meet online twice a year, bringing together educational leaders from across the sector to provide insight into teacher development and retention. By collaborating with researchers and other stakeholders, members will help shape strategies to improve classroom practices, enhance teacher retention, and develop high-quality teacher training programs.
